The department of Information Resources is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join their team. Our ideal candidate is able to travel to different locations for new construction or renovation projects, is familiar with the building construction process, changes and deadlines, is resourceful, independent and knowledgeable on IT processes, and possesses the ability to communicate with both IT and non-technical stakeholders, to effectively act as liaison in the exchange of requirements and solutions. Additionally, this role requires initiative to identify project needs and elaborate plans based on those needs.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Work requires demonstrated ability and skills in information technology Work requires demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills. Work requires ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines. Work requires strong analytical/problem solving skills. Work requires strong familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Planview. Following “core competencies” are knowledge, skills, and abilities that are fundamental for all positions at UT Southwestern Medical Center: Ability to provide “customer service focus”. Interpersonal and teamwork skills to contribute to objectives of organization. Adaptability/flexibility to react positively to changes in work environment.
